Wine Club Summit

Livermore, CA January 20, 2009 - The 2009 Wine Club Summit at the Marin Center in San Rafael proved once again to be a success. Wine club managers, winery owners and supporting winery staff attended the seminars taking copious notes regarding plans that they will take back and implement to support their own club programs.

New products were introduced. WineBadge.com turned out to be one of the "hot picks" of the show. Developed by local wine enthusiast Jay and Corrinne Goldberg the WineBadge helps to identify the name, year, type and description of a wine and can easily be secured on the top or bottom of a bottle. This means you can organize and access your wines quickly and without disturbing every bottle. The badges can be reused, customized for each winery or event and are extremely affordable.

The Wine Appreciation Guild introduced an innovative way to preserve wine that protects both the taste & aroma. It is a soft, plastic disk that is inserted into a bottle of wine. It floats on the top of the remaining wine reducing the wine's exposure to air thus increasing the life of your wine. For less than a dollar each it is a new product to consider adding to your wine tools.
